How to use:

1) Correct pH electrode and dissolved oxygen electrode.


2) Sterilization of tank. The medium was added into the tank as required, and after sealing according to the requirements, the small beer fermenter (5L) could put the tank into the large sterilization pot for sterilization (115℃, 30 minutes); Large beer fermenter (10L and above) was steam sterilized (121℃, 30min).


3) After cooling the tank, place it on the fermentation table and install it well; Open the cooling water, open the air pump power supply, connect the ventilation pipe to start ventilation, adjust the intake knob to make the ventilation appropriate, so that tank pressure is maintained at 0.05MPa; The temperature, pH and stirring speed were set, and the slope of the dissolved oxygen electrode was calibrated at the determined speed and ventilation rate. The value was 100%


4) After the temperature is stable and all parameters are correct, the pre-shaken seeds are added, the fermentation time is started, and various parameters are recorded.


5) After fermentation, clean the tank and electrode, insert the pH electrode into the triangle bottle with 3M potassium chloride for use, cover the probe of dissolved oxygen electrode with protective condoms, and save for later.

Maintenance:

6. When the equipment stops being used, it should be cleaned in time to exhaust the remaining water in the beer fermenter and the pipes; Unscrew the beer fermenter can lid and hand hole to prevent permanent deformation of the seal ring.


7. Carbon steel equipment such as operating platform and constant temperature water tank should be painted regularly (once a year) to prevent corrosion.


8. Check the oil level of the reducer frequently. If the lubricating oil is not enough, it needs to be increased in time.


9. Replace lubricating oil of reducer regularly to prolong its service life.


10. If the beer fermenter is not used for the time being, it is necessary to empty out the beer fermenter and exhaust the remaining water in the tank and the pipes.


Note:

1). Before sterilizing the tank, it is necessary to check the liquid level, and all electrodes are required to be below the liquid level.


2). Before turning on the beer fermenter power supply, make sure that the cooling water is turned on and the temperature probe is inserted into the slot, otherwise it will burn out the heating circuit.


3). The fermentation process must keep the table clean, used culture bottles and other items in time to clean, for reasons spilled acid lye or water should be immediately dry.


4). Special care should be taken when installing, disassembling, and sterilizing the pH electrodes and vulnerable and expensive parts of the tank.
