We take celery leaf essential oil extraction as an example. During the whole experiment, we need to use essential oil extraction equipment, electric heating and constant temperature blast drying oven, low-temperature coolant circulating pump and circulating water vacuum pump. When our preliminary preparation work is ready, the next step is to carry out the extraction process. First, we wash the celery leaves, put them in a ventilated place for natural air drying for 48 hours, and then put them in an electric thermostatic air blast drying oven for 24 hours under the condition of 25℃. When the time is up, we take out the dried celery leaves and cut them with scissors. After soaking, they can be put into essential oil extraction equipment for experiment. According to the orthogonal experiment method, we took the ratio of material to liquid, soaking time and distillation time as three factors, and then set three horizontal points from each factor for the experiment. Finally, the optimal conditions for the extraction of celery leaves essential oil were as follows: the ratio of material to liquid 1-8, soaking time 0.5h, distillation time 3h.
